Southstudio's brief for the visitor reception area at College Francais Bilingue de Londres (CFBL) was to create a refreshed environment, which communicates the school ethos better and for the spaces to operate more efficiently.
As part of the reorganisation, the challenge was to create a welcoming space and fresh identity at the point of entry into the Listed Grade II School.
The reception is designed to provide an open plan space with a bespoke reception desk and associated storage wall together with a small discrete office. New lighting and decor also add to the ambience of the setting.
Southstudio's proposed colour scheme includes a combination of CFBL's branded colours and bold use of the school logo to transform the spaces and to create an enlivened impact upon arrival.
